Star that shines in the night sky

In the Maya Q'anjobal dialect from Huehuetenango, Waykan means "star that shines in the night sky." The producers of Waykan consist of 55 communities, including K'iche, Q'anhobal, Mestizo, situated in the municipalities of Chajul, Quiche, Cotzal, and Nebaj in the Huehuetenango region. It is a blend of Typica, Caturra, Bourbon, Catuai, Pache varieties. Many different names sparkle in Waykan.
